Basic room but clean. Everything is functioning and this place is just a 100 meter walk from Siti Khadijah Market - nothing to complain for the price! I also would like to comment that the people there is very friendly. I had a great chat with one of their receptionist. :)

KB Street Boutique hotel is strategically located as it is within walking distance to the famous Siti Khadijah Market (Pasar) and the nearby commercial business area. Parking may be a problem for those visiting Kota Bharu with own vehicle. The receptionist was friendly and helpful for she recommended us the interesting tourist spots. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth. There is no room deposit required during check-in. We stayed one night in a City view suite. The air-conditioned room is spacious as it can accommodate up to 3 adults (queen bed and single bed). We chose this room because there was not much room option left for us. As the name implies, we had the busy street view from our room window. Our room is the same floor as the reception counter (1st floor). The common area for guests is outside of our room. Simple breakfast is provided (DIY). Cutlery, plates & bowls, tea/coffee-making facility, water dispenser (hot/cold), refrigerator, sofa and dining table and chairs are available in this common area. We were provided with a sleeping pillow each. The bed was fine to sleep on. There is a small table and chair in the room. Room amenities included two complimentary bottled water, cloth hangers, and television. There is a waist-length mirror in the room. The ensuite bathroom has a washing basin, mirror, hot/cold standing shower, water hose, and body towel. Simple toiletries such as shampoo, body wash and tissue paper are provided. In terms of location, we highly recommend this hotel. However, if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the good choice (City view suite). This is because the curtain is not the blackout type. Hence, the bright sunlight (day time) and the streetlights and a spot light (night time) on the street are able to penetrate through the thin curtain. The night market is just outside the hotel on Saturdays. The night market may operate until midnight. During midnight, we still heard talking and laughing sounds from the staffs and their hand phone’s message ring tone. Therefore, if you would like to stay in this hotel, do choose other room type, this may help to solve the noise and light problem.…
