We booked this hotel for a hockey team. The hotel is disgusting. Smells like mold and mildew. Bugs all over the place. Blood on the floor. I have pictures to prove it. The hotel would not refund any money when we tried to cancel. The manager Will was uncooperative as was the woman working the front desk. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

I love it here.

WILL is the best as it’s going to get at this place with Staff and he actually CARES and makes an effort! The rest of staff are bare minimum, they don’t smile when you check in and they all just about do what they want. A housekeeper told me my first stay that housekeeping isn’t suppose to clean just change trash and linens. When I complained Will cleared it up IMMEDIATELY! Will is who you want to ask to speak to you if you have a concern or inconvenience. He will take care of you to the best of his ability. They had me stuck in a hot room not wanting to switch me out, after I talked to Will I was moved within 20 mins no questions asked. The staff dress professional but they’re very stoic and uncaring. Granted the place needs some room touch ups but other than that WILL GIVES REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE! And he needs a raise because from my understanding he handles a lot of properties because this one doesn’t have a GM yet. Thank you Will for always making our stay comfortable…

Not up to the standards we expect from the Choice Hotel line

After a long, rough day on the road; we were looking forward to the typical top notch experience we have come to expect from the Choice Hotels line. Not this time. First were the signs asking for understanding during "improvements". The place is in great need of those. Carpet was dirty in all the hallways and the furnishings in the room had seen their better days. Only one of the keys cards worked to open the door, as there appeared to be some issues with the coder (based on how many times they had to try to get the code to "take". Next: The fan in the bathroom was so loud (with no way to turn it off) there was no way we were going to get any sleep. I immediately requested another room. Kudos to the staff for honoring that request very quickly. The second room actually matched the room I had reserved (the first had a much smaller sitting room area than I was expected and no kitchenette). While the furnishings were worn and dated, the beds were very comfortable. We slept well. Another downside was there was only one elevator for the whole hotel, near the registration desk. Our ultimate room was at the far end of the facility. That was a lot of walking. Plus, the lobby/registration is up a long set of steps. I did not see an ADA accessible way to the desk from the lot? Doesn't mean there wasn't one, just that it was not obvious if there was one. As Choice Diamond Elite members, we are supposed to receive a gift bag (water, snacks) at check in. Nothing was offered. I wound up having to ask for it the next morning, when I was checking out. Breakfast was the saving grace that kept this review from being one star. All the tasty hot and cold options we've come to expect from a Choice Hotel.…
