We are privileged to have earned your recommendation. Our staff will be thrilled to know that you felt they were friendly and helpful. We will surely let them know your words here. Just a note, while it is very rare for a New York City hotel to have a pool, we do, in fact have a bar. Our Brazilian steakhouse, Churrascaria Plataforma has a separate lounge area with an extensive drinks menu and a slightly different menu that the main restaurant. It is located just off the main lobby and is advertised on the key packet and on in-room paraphernalia. Perhaps we can take you not noticing into account when we evaluate our signage and advertising. Dear 5janettew, Thank you for commenting on your stay with us. We're happy to hear you agree with our great location but sorry your room was not ready by 4pm. This will be addressed with our housekeeping and front office management teams to ensure rooms are ready on time. We do a great job turning rooms after checkout but there are rare instances that we have a higher volume of check-outs than usual and it may take slightly longer to prepare all the rooms by 4pm. We will also address your concern with the concierge. The staff gets many accolades for their friendly and helpful service and we're sorry to hear that you did not have the same great experience.
