Aloha Sherpa ! At first glance at your post I thought I had written it. We're in the same boat, leaving Santa Croce by 10am and needing to get to the Villa. I contacted Viking and they said check-in at the Villa was 3pm. We were hoping to arrange for a driver to take us around Tuscany for a few hours, including lunch and then end up at the Villa by 3pm. 4 of us with bags. May.
Dear Sirs,
We have a special agreement with our Drivers, that are reliable and a bit cheaper than usual taxis . They can pick you up from Florence airport and make some little tours around Chianti.
An idea of prices:
Villa to Florence airport around Euro 70,00 one way
Villa to San Casciano Val di Pesa (2km away) Euro 20,00 one way Villa to Siena around Euro 80,00 one way
With taxi will be more expensive to enjoy our Region.
