Nice and pleasant hotel very close to the beach The hotel is situated in the vicinity of the beach area, outside the hotel you might also find the a brownish house the host the local girls for Lonely men- some quarters from the hotel there is several dinning places with nice music . A block down south you can find the local discos - just beware of pocket thieves when entering. The hotel itself has sufficient room quality with a pool outside I even had the Owner greeting me and treating with a free meal - an middle aged Italian guy . Service 5/10 can be better Location 8/10 Rooms 7/10

ho soggiornato in questa struttura circondata dal verde, c'è una bella piscina ,confortevoli le camere solo la cucina lascia un po a desiderare , cmq lo consiglio ai giovani e single nn adatto alle famiglie !

il nostro viaggio è stato nel 99,se il titolare è sempre quello state lontani,italiano che frega i suoi connazzionali.Con il stesso prezzo andrete in un hotel in riva al mare,lui dista circa 500 metri dal mare.Anoi si è fatto una trattenuta nella carta di credito di 1 milione di lire senza avvisarci di averlo fatto,cosa legale solo lì,poco pulito,personale scortese,animali nelle camere con andirivieni di persone poco raccomandabili.EVITATE EVITATE EVITATE

i am my wife spend seven days there and found it to be a verry homey and comfortable place and the price and the food was reasonable.

Went to the DR in 98 on a buddy pass a friend gave me.When I got to SDQ just as i was clearing customs a guide offered me ride to a hotel in BocaChicaI did'nt have a hotel reservation and this is where my problems started. See when you come in the DR you are required to file a form stating your buisiness and where you will be living while in the country, I was wondering why the customs guard had singnaled this guide ? I was told later by honest dominicans this is a scam.The guides not only get a tip from you but also a kickback from the hotel and Hotel Milanel is part of the hustle, Although the hotel as a singh on the highway advertising rooms for 20usd,(I arrived after dark) by the time the owner charged me a reasonable fee for paying with canadian cash, I had paid 45usd for a room with cockroaches the sise an egg. The house keeping was terrible, there was earthworms cumming out of the shower drain and I could feel the springs in a to old matress, there are other things but basically Hotel Milanell is to be avoided yes they do accept guest in your room but so does Hotel Europa and a bunch of others…
