Thank you kindly for taking the time to write review following your recent stay with us.
It was our pleasure to be your host during your time in Reykjavík and I am very pleased to read that you found my staff to be friendly.

I am however sorry to read that we did not surpass all your expectations.

We do indeed get many praises for our firm mattresses, however every once in a while this is mentioned. That is why we offer our guest a top matters if desired. Firmness of a matters is highly subjective and although we sincerely want to, it can be quite challenging to satisfy everyone. We are hoping with this approach, everyone should be able to get a good night sleep in our hotel. That is indeed one of our main priorities.

We also pride ourselves of our great variety in the breakfast buffet of which is often believed to be one of the finest buffets in Reykjavík therefore I am terribly saddened to read your feedback.

However we are constantly looking for ways to improve therefore I would very much welcome the opportunity to discuss this with you further and invite you to contact me personally at guestrelations.rvk@fosshotel.is

Thank you very much for choosing Fosshótel Reykjavík and letting us have an impression of your stay. I really appreciate the time and attention you have given to giving us such precise feedback on your most recent visit.

First I would like to thank you for your positive comments in regards of the breakfast. We strain our utmost to provide a traditional breakfast for each and every continent hoping to fulfil everyone’s taste and desire.

I am also glad you enjoyed the view from your room, on a good day we can surely pride ourselves of the best view of the city.

I am pleased to read that you found the hotel ideally located for your stay. With the central in just a walking distance yet far enough to be bothered by the night live and of cores the cherry on the top is that the bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

Slippers and robes are included in some of our other room categories.
Otherwise our guest can buy slippers for 1500 ISK and they are yours to keep!
The robes come for the same price and together they come down to 2.500 ISK so that is quite fair.

The warmth of the hotel is surly subjective. We are indeed big and modern and with our minimalist Scandinavian style I can see how we might come across as cold to some of the other continents that are not used to this kind of style. Scandinavians for instance hardly use carpets in accommodations in general. While they are often considered warm and welcoming in America, in Western Europe we find the hardwood/tiled floors to be a much more practical option in regards to cleanliness and maintenance.

Of cores we would love to be everyone’s first choose and that is indeed our main goal, however that might be quite optimistic. We do value your opinion and we thank you for your honesty.

I do hope that you enjoyed your time in Reykjavík to the fullest.
